Summary/Abstract: The article presents one of the main ideas for the development of school history education – creating different opportunities for extracurricular activities, facilitating the links between school and local museums, encouraging this interaction throughout transdisciplinary activities. The article outlines the possibilities from the point of view of the current regulation, available resources and modern educational trends in this field.
