Summary/Abstract: Purpose - The main purpose is presenting the concept of benchmarking for the waste disposal plants. Design/Methodology/Approach – In an article used theoretical and empirical methods. In theoretical part described definition of benchmarking in literature and the definition of the waste disposal plants in law acts. Empirical methods concentrated on research of the benchmarking in the waste disposal plants. Findings – The article presents the symptoms of insolvency could be decided on restructuring process. Originality/value. This article presents own concept of the benchmarking in the waste disposal plants. Keywords: insolvency, early warning systems, restructuring process.
