Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the presented article is to analyze the organization and division of work in two accounting offices. One of them belongs to micro enterprises, while the other is a medium-sized enter-prise. The adopted research methodology consists in conducting snapshots, interviews with employees and managers, and analyzing the procedures in place. The result of the research is to determine the specifics of work organization in various accounting offices. The article is a "case study" and its results can not be translated into the functioning of all accounting offices.
