This article touches upon the issue of applying methods of Serious Games for future engineering education. This article presents an analysis of modern videogames, that can be recommended for engineering students and practices that these games use, that can be used for creating such kind of in-direct learning experience. Modern well-designed puzzle videogames enhance problem-solving skills, and in this article, particular methods of how to create a good game for effective learning are inspected. Serious Games can be greatly effective in studying such disciplines as programming and can be used to grant future engineers better understanding of how their theoretical knowledge can be applied on practice.
