Summary/Abstract: The present paper distinguishes among the many contemporary Freudian commentators of Transcendence, between philosophers and practitioners, trying to offer a general method for the definition of transcendence, with a special analysis on Erich Fromm’s conception about transcendence in two aspects, namely masculine and feminine.
