Summary/Abstract: The human person is subjected to the process of upbringing and formation. The family, school and church play an important role in this process. The author concentrates on education and youth education in the interpretation of Karol Wojtyla and Luigi Giussani. He explores a fragmentary problem with regard to the understanding of the vocation to the priesthood. It is important that during this process, the youth confronts the imperishable truth that fits into the meaning of human existence and not only the temporal categories of life that are piecemeal to some planes. The educators play an important role, and they should have a mature, integrated personality.
