Summary/Abstract: This paper analyzes the operations of the Savings Bank of the Danube Banovina in Novi Sad from its inception to liquidation. Written at a time of great social and economic changes, both at internal and external levels, faithfully reflect their image. The company’s operations affected equally and political changes in the country, as well as events caused by a large global economic crisis. As its organizational network was represented in all major towns provinces, tried to be a driving force and the wearer overall economic development. For the success of its business, however, is of crucial importance was the human factor, because it is largely dependent on the people who led it. In this context, her work was marked by numerous abuses of power, but also principled and consistent work of people who have tried to remain outside the influence of the current policy. The necessary reforms in its operations halted by World War II.
