Summary/Abstract: The authors present a rare type of a Vârteju-Bucureşti Dacian coin. It belongs to the same late variant of this type as the coins from Cârlomăneşti hoard and it was discovered in a Geto-Dacian house from Bucharest (Dămăroaia) during the archaeological excavations from 2013. The coin was struck; the XRF analysis shows a quaternary structure based on silver, copper, tin and lead. It is one of the few samples of this type coming as an isolated find from a Dacian settlement.
