Summary/Abstract: Dear Readers, It’s been a year since the entry into force of the Treaty of Lisbon following its two-year long ratification process. Among the most important aspects of the Treaty reform are the new constitutive provisions which make a legal personality of the European Union, considerably strengthening its legal powers as an international actor; and the extended provisions concerning the EU External Action contained in both the Treaty on European Union (TEU) and the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU).
