Stalker as a male retro-fantasy for new times (the Complex 7215 universe)

Summary/Abstract: The author analyses the post-apo series of Stalker, popular among young people. Based on the methodology developed by Klaus Theweleit in Male Fantasies points to a similarity of ideas (attitude to women, building male heroes) between the texts of the Weimar Republic described by the German scholar and the new literature for men. These relations lead him to a thesis of a rebirth of a certain type of the male way of thinking in modern times as a response to the ongoing civilisation changes.
