Summary/Abstract: The articles takes up the issue of dependence between the practices of pornography and capitalism. Pornography is in this case depicted as a phenomenon which marked the period of system transformation in post-communist countries, with its impact stretched between emancipation and seduction. Through its illusory dimension, it helped Miron Białoszewski, for instance, to escape from the patriotic form to search for bliss and identity. Pornography, which is an element of the expansion of Western capitalism, was portrayed as an allegory of social relationships on the class, economic, ethnic, political and gender plane. The emancipation potential of pornography, liberated from the phallocentric capital, seems to dwell in the anality, which the author, similarly to Lee Edelman, understands as a queer event.
