Summary/Abstract: The present work aims to justify the role of literature in foreignlanguage teaching, to identify the difficulties in the use of Bulgarian literary texts byforeign students and the factors that optimize their perception. The theoretical goalis related to a practical task of creating a short anthology, titled “Pages of BulgarianLiterature”. It is designed as an online edition which could serve as a resource forboth seminar works and extensive reading. The electronic edition allows the use ofvirtual communication, link clarifications, and interactive tasks.
