Summary/Abstract: A comprehensive study of measures of prevention of crimes undertaken by the National Police of Ukraine is carried out in the paper from the victimological perspective. Moreover, the nature of its social and legal status in the state mechanism of crime prevention is defined. The author proposes the structure of crime prevention subjects and notes that the National Police of Ukraine is an important subject of this activity.
