Summary/Abstract: Professor Ciocarlie's diary fragments charm the reader, as usual, with the narrative of various personal experiences, combined with meditative considerations on their nature and context. The glamour of futile social outings and mondenities contrasts with gloomy memories of the pre-revolutionary conditions. THe hypocritical political stage is exposed, along with the dawning of a new age of bribery and corruption at various levels. Art and literature could not miss from the fragments; neither could the domestic universe of family and friends.
