Summary/Abstract: The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity1 is the world's biggest celebration of creativity in communications and the must-attend event for anyone involved in brand communication. The festival is a barometer for the health of the industry of communication and a compass for its direction. The present study presents and analyses some important trends in the advertising field as they were revealed by the Festival.
