Summary/Abstract: The sermon for most people still represents the kind of speech which reaches a significant number of listeners both in the churches and on the radio. This is the reason why one has to recall the historical bases of the sacred language together with its biblical and theological principles. Further, it is worth assessing the manner how ecclesiastical language defends and protects the mother tongue.
