Inter-Nordic Relations and Activities of the Nordic Council

Summary/Abstract: In the introductory part of the consideration of the Nordic problem the author emphasizes specific position of those countries in international relations, as well as different streams which influence their peculiarities The author wishes to show similarities in history, culture, economic and political development of the Nordic states and gives a survey of traditional mutual connections which have contributed to outstanding of the whole region. All these elements of similarities have contributed during various phases of the historic development of the European North to make common attitudes concerning the necessity of the Nordic collaboration.
