Summary/Abstract: Nikolic gives us a clear and legible sign in his films, the demystification of the hidden meaning and the meaning that comes from it. Although the poetry in them is close to the fascination of shifted reality, with an unhidden glimpse of the ulterior, and the questioning of the unkind, it does not diminish the power of his poetic statement in any way. Therefore, the lyrical authenticity in them is unadulterated and primaeval pure. Nikolic's poetic sign originates from the crude reality of the Montenegrin stone, with which it is inseparably tied and without it could not exist. Poetic images in it can also lead to a strong organic connection to myth. There is nothing happening anywhere else at Nikolic. If it is not so recognized, it loses its meaning. The characteristic visual-poetic segments in Nikolic's film stories, their fullness and plasticity, as a rule, completes the accentuated musical phrase but also the light and chromatic nuances as the inevitable segments of their generic structure.
