THE WORKSHOP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS OF GERMAN STUDIES ABOUT GERMAN SPEAKING LITERATURE OF THE FUTURE

Summary/Abstract: The contribution introduces the concept of a workshop on Future Literature for students of German Philology, discusses the benefits for the participants and summarizes the results. There is a description of how the concept can be put into effect. The most important learning objective is to raise awareness of the model character of Fictional Literature. Another goal is the reflection on cultural and trans-cultural aspects in the attribution of meaning by the reader. The method presented is transferable on other artistic representations of text.
