Summary/Abstract: The article emphasizes the need to ensure special protection by consumer law of persons excluded from the banking services market. The author analyzes French and Polish regulations counteracting this phenomenon. The considerations presented in the article are a reflection on the need for special protection of the weaker group of service recipients of banking services. The author’s reference point in this respect is the French legal regulations, which took the form of the Monetary and Financial Code and the Consumer Code.
