Summary/Abstract: This research investigates the way artificial intelligence and automation shape talent attraction and retention. Building our argument by drawing on data collected from the Boston Consulting Group, LinkedIn, MIT Sloan Management Review, Software Advice, and Statista, we performed analyses and made estimates regarding skills that artificial intelligence is least likely to replace, business organizations’ reasons for adopting artificial intelligence, barriers to artificial intelligence adoption in organizations, links between artificial intelligence and general organizational capabilities, and top trends shaping the future of recruiting and hiring. The data for this research were gathered via an online survey questionnaire and were analyzed through structural equation modeling on a sample of 3,600 respondents.
