ПРИЛОГ ИСТОРИЈИ ЈЕЗИКА – ДИСИМИЛАЦИЈА И МЕТАТЕЗА СУГЛАСНИКА У ПИСАНОЈ ГРАЂИ XIX ВИЈЕКА
A CONTRIBUTION TO THE HISTORY OF LANGUAGE – DISSIMILATION AND METATHESIS OF CONSONANTS IN THE WRITTEN MATERIAL OF THE 19TH CENTURY

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to make a contribution with specific material and examples to the knowledge about the phoneticism of the 19th-century linguistic expression on the territory of Montenegro. We used the Montenegrin Senate correspondence as a corpus for monitoring sound changes recorded in writing. Objective circumstances limited the analysis to the manuscripts written during the period 1860–1879. We follow dissimilation and metathesis of consonants, and in relation to the evidence derived from it, we give an overview of the situation in Montenegrin speeches and the expression of older literary creators; in the case of certain forms, we also comment on the contemporary language norm.
