Summary/Abstract: This paper is aimed at revealing some of the most recurrent difficulties that the process of learning technical translation poses to the Romanian students undertaking university courses/programs in specialised translation. It highlights the challenges that the translation of technical texts from French into Romanian and how these challenges were surmounted by the Romanian students.
