Summary/Abstract: In his research into Croatian Word Formation, in this paper, deals with the formation of nouns with suffixes terminating in -(a)k. Of the 20 suffixes terminating in this ending, the only truly productive suffix is -(a)k, the rest being barely productive or unproductive. For this reason, the author treats most extensively this suffix, dealing with the others as much as is required to obtain a full formational picture of the nominal group in -(a)k.
