Activities of Caritas in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Summary/Abstract: Caritas is an institution of Catholic Church through which the local church realizes its support for poor individuals and groups firstly within its organization and then for all other people in the plural society created also by the Church through its value system. Besides Caritas of Bosnia and Herzegovina whose founder is the Bishop’s Conference of Bosnia and Herzegovina, local Caritas organizations within Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Vrhbosna implement specific programmes and projects in the areas of their jurisdiction. In that way they reach the end-users in need and take care of them by allaying their hard everyday life. Effective Christian love that every single Caritas offers in its area is the product of direct Christ’s provision on love.
