Migration Between Identity Destabillization And Symbolic Memory

Summary/Abstract: The typology of migration flows in contemporary times set up a social and institutional construction of the migrant's image. Thus, the migrant must be thought within an intersubjective field and in relation to two fundamental poles: alterity and community. To do so, what is necessary is a phenomenology of intersubjectivity and a hermeneutics of interpersonal relations. Thanks to Paul Ricoeur, I will put into question the relationship between strangeness and migration, by concretely analyzing the different imaginary incarnations of strangeness: the visitor, the migrant, the refugee.
