Summary/Abstract: Public relations in theoretical terms at the beginning of its overall development towards full scientific satisfaction. In a wider circle of experts who do not deal with this very characteristic of communication is seen as yet practical crafts holdings. However, in consideration of world trends critical study of public relations and their practical application has greatly advanced the quiet and shy bh views of practitioners and professionals. The practice of public relations is not only necessary for organizations, companies, media, government and NGO sector, but also educational institutions. Establishment of cooperation, communication with the public interest, recognition and analysis of market promotion and image creation, publicity is necessary and all levels of the educational organization in Bosnia and Herzegovina more than ever in the growing competitiveness in these fields a new era. The art of creating good relations with stakeholders are specific communication skills that are immanent professionally educated staff of PR. Educational institutions do not lag behind the needs of the branding that is the condition of their existence, and like most of the European and world educational systems that use the services of PR. But why is the real need of professional development services for public relations immanent in the education sector, the modern age? This review aims to answer in that question the scope of the definition and several examples from the reality of creating negative publicity in the BiH education sector. Unique example in which a serious omitted descriptions of types, techniques and models to organize services for public relations, the existence of services for public relations activities in the academic sector has been converted into a case study of the University of Sarajevo.
