DISA VEÇORI GJUHËSORE NË TË FOLMET E KOSOVËS PERËNDIMORE E JUGPERËNDIMORE
SOME LINGUISTIC FEATURES OF KOSOVO’S WESTERN AND SOUTHWESTERN SPEECH

Summary/Abstract: The subject of this paper is about some linguistic features, particularly lexical, which are characterized by Western and Southwestern speech, which are summarized below. The main purpose of this study is to present the key features of the lexical system of two important areas of Kosova, namely Western and Southwest Kosova, as well as make some comparisons between them, also point out some important elements of the treasure of these speeches. From the subject that we have gathered in the mentioned areas we can say that the spread of regional and dialectical words, which defines and differentiates dialects and Albanian speeches, is much more complicated and cannot be represented by a strict separation or boundaries, much more the phraseological subject, where geographic extension is more a fruit of mental and ethnological realms rather than the regional or dialectal one.
