Summary/Abstract: In this research the relations between the dimensions of emotional labor and alienation (self-estrangement and alienation from the work) of employees in tourism firms were investigated. The data were obtained by questionnaire method. Structural Equation Modelling was conducted to search causal relationships between latent variables. The model was applied to the data obtained from 252 employees and statistically significant results were found. It was found that there is a significant relationship between the surface acting behaviors of workers and their alienations to work in tourism enterprises however, no significant relationship was found between the surface acting behaviors of workers and their self-estrangement. Similarly, a statistically significant relationship was found between the deep acting behaviors of workers and the alienations from the work, but no significant relationship was found between deep acting and self-estrangement of employees.
