Summary/Abstract: Today, the phenomenon of digital culture is already a part of our lives. In the text, therefore, we offer a comprehensive set of knowledge about digital culture that arose as a result of digitalization and the dynamic development of digital media. Furthermore, we deal with Web 2.0, which brings new opportunities for media producers on the Internet. The main aim of the text is to point out the phenomena and insights that need to be understood to reflect on current issues such as digital culture and the transition of media production from ‘traditional’ television to the online environment. We also strive to better understand the term “digital culture” and some of communication processes the culture of digital media involves.
