Summary/Abstract: This article is devoted to the memory of the late Professor Lucylla Pszczołowska (1924–2010), an outstanding student in literature and a modest person. Typical to her was a strong need to cooperate and to assist those in need of being supported. For versology, this loss is irremediable. Also literary science has incurred a severe loss at her demise.
