Summary/Abstract: The article is about developing children’s mental functions during their early childhood educationin the context of preventing potential personality disorders in adult life. The children’s difficultiesand unsolved crises from childhood affect the quality of their adult life. The focus of the text is onbuilding awareness of personality patterns, which are based on childhood experiences and the kindof relationships which a child develops, their influence on a personality and disorders. The article concentrates on problematic aspects of child development in the context of building their personality. From the text the conclusion emerges that parents and teachers have a strong impact on social, emotional and moral development. Children build interpersonal competence and learn howto build connections with other people in relation to them and how it forms a child’s personality.
