Summary/Abstract: German is the second foreign language in the students’ option in Romania after English, which comes first. Lately more and more students want to learn German. Thus difficulties can frequently be encountered in translating from English into German and vice versa from German into mother tongue/ native language. In this paper we analyze the advantages and disadvantages of bilingual speakers and problems they encounter the in usual translations.
