Summary/Abstract: Contemporary Azerbaijani literature covers the period from the mid-XX century to the present. In this period, the tradition of democratization in literature has begun, the main subjects of literature are social and spiritual problems, people, and his psychology has gained importance. Kamal Abdulla is one of the most important representatives of contemporary Azerbaijani literature. Kamal Abdulla is a writer and scientist who has a great importance in the literary, cultural and social life of the Turkish world. Kamal Abdulla's literary works, including poems, stories, essays, plays, translations and novels, and his scientific research are important in national literature. The novels of science-based writer Kamal Abdulla, which brought new breaths into the traditional concept of novel, are among the precious works of contemporary Azerbaijan prose. In particular, his scientific researches on Dede Korkut directed new scientific ideas in the world Korkut science, every published novel has turned into a literary event. Kamal Abdulla, with his novel Yarımçıq Elyazma which is the novel of his scientific researches, re-introduced the main book of Turk, Kitabi Dede Korkut, to the world. What makes the author's works different and valuable is the combination of the scientific approach and the aesthetic approach in his Works, interpreting events in a specific literary-philosophical way and adding unlimited imagination.
