Summary/Abstract: Introduction: The Main sources of contamination of river water in developed countries are industrial and municipal waste as well as waste water which ands to river as final recipients.This paper presents results of measuring concentration of the pollution parametres (dissolved oxygen, BPK, HPK, TOC, TSS, PAM and Nitrates) in the water of the Tisa river.. Aim: The goal was assesment of ecological status of Tisa river basin as well as quality control and heavy metal concentration. Methods The polution was measured from the samples using standardized methods. Determination of HPK, BPK5, TOC, TSS, nitrates and surfactants, (PAM) was performed SEKOMAM UV PASTEL analzyer. Disolved oxigen was determined elektrochemicaly.
