Summary/Abstract: In the following article, the author attempted to provide a biographical insight into the personality and activities of Dr Slavno Fornazarič (1888–1969), a nationally-conscious Slovenian from the Primorska region, lawyer and refugee from Venezia Giulia. The author presented the life and work of this forgotten fighter for the national rights of the Primorska region Slovenians by collecting and analysing oral sources as well as scarce information from literature and newspapers, archival sources, and especially from the documents and journal, which are a part of Fornazarič’s personal heritage. As it turns out, Fornazarič is currently not mentioned in any Slovenian lexicons or encyclopaedias. The author hopes to change this with the present article.
