Summary/Abstract: This study was conducted with individuals participating in an applied entrepreneurship training program, which is one of the applications carried out in order to support the development of SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Entersprises) and to increase employment. The study was aimed to present an overview of entrepreneurship trainings with qualitative analysis conducted in parallel with demographic profiles of the participants, personality traits associated with entrepreneurship and participants’ expectations and their business plans. To that end, a questionnaire consisting of open and close-ended questions were administered to 73 participants who participated in an entrepreneurship training in a continuous education centre connected to a state university. As a result of the evaluation, the participants were evaluated in three subgroups according to their purpose of participation: ‘having a specific business idea’, ‘aiming to benefit from financial support’ and ‘not having any business plans’.
