Summary/Abstract: In this study, the factors affecting art in pre-Islamic Turks are discussed. The basic element that affects art is the geography where the society lives and the culture that it creates in its own nation according to it. Societies form a culture that is unique to their geographies through the effects of climatic conditions, locality, and environmental societies, and in doing so, they elicit art works that will contribute to themselves and other human beings in the first place, while removing all basic needs. It also affects other societies. The Turks are the leading nations in this respect. While presenting many works of art, humanity has made great contributions in this context. The Turks, who were ruled on the hard steppe lands, left behind basic works that would illuminate the world history with the art of war, which is the result of faith and exhibited against geographical conditions and enemies. Even the tents they lived in, the fighters of war and peace, the war instruments they used to defend themselves, the vessels they used to eat, and the merry-go-round of the delicate Turkish girl, adorned it with great delicacy and ingenuity in their culture and myths. Nature, which is considered sacred by Turks, is one of the main elements affecting the arts. So much so that the mountain, sky, ground, water, tree, star, moon, sun almost decorated the works we have described as basic works as figures. Religious beliefs have also taken place in the works of the Turks. The most important works of art in the style of art that we put the animal style. Together with the animals, because of their living conditions, the Turks tame the horses to the tents where they live, while at the same time feeding their loyalty, livelihood with the livelihood of the sheep, feeding the poultry while wearing their woolen clothes and hunting the hawk while hunting the falcon. When we examine the art of a nation, we actually examine that nation in general terms. The importance of art is expressed clearly by Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's statement: “One of the life veins of a nation that is left without art is a broken one” and as the Great Leader said: “A historical feature of the Turkish nation, to love and to rise up”.
