Analysis of the effectiveness of investment in an index of socially responsible companies on the example of RESPECT Index

Summary/Abstract: Volatility of financial markets leads to many alternative investments. One of these are companies adhering to the principles of responsible business. With the use of them stock exchanges include them to the indexes based on their ratings. The aim of this paper is to characterize RESPECT Index which is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange and analyze the behavior of threats of return compared to other indices.
