(Fontes Historiae Hungarorum, 8. )The texts by Petrogalli included in the book are eloquent examples of a situation when an author, a stylist living long ago confronts the contemporary reader with timely, but, regretfully, abiding problems. He was very much concerned with the county administration system, which was, considering the interests of ethnic minorities, a priori redrawn in a disadvantageous manner, with the missing equality before the law, and with the necessity of unity of political action.
