Summary/Abstract: In the following discussion the author will present the social dynamics between the members of the armed forces and the civilian population in Slovenia during the First Yugoslavia. On one hand the interaction under consideration was positive and even had significance for the social, cultural and societal level of the Slovenian population. On the other hand the cohabitation of the members of the Army and the civilian population also had negative consequences, mostly involving various minor offences.
