Summary/Abstract: Sustainability is all of the activities of structures which use energy, water, materials and the situation that were in effectively, protecting people's health and comfort prioritized for the use of renewable energy resources as ecofriendly. Sustainable urbanization approach involves all the environmental (built environment / natural environment), social and economic elements influenced by urban development and affecting urban development in an interrelated manner. Within the scope of this study were given information Cittaslow movement and what is happening in Eğirdir, one of the district of Isparta, is a member of Cittaslo. Cittaslow Italian Citta (City) and English Slow (Slow) was formed by the merger of the word. And Turkish is usually quiet town called. With the Cittaslow movement, it is aimed to revitalize the social and economic life by respecting the nature of the city, the artisan, the culture, the history, the food and the products. Besides, comprehension of meaning and importance of "Cittaslow" philosophy and the creation of a areness of the district of Eğirdir here the sample area in the conte t of the criteria of this philosophy. The topic of the study will be elucidated by using written sources, internet database and the information taken by state institutions such as Eğirdir Metropolitan Municipality. Furthermore, visual elements such as photos and graphics ill be used. Eğirdir district is one of the member of 15 Cittaslo municipalities in Turkey with its historical and natural riches. As a result, it is possible to mention sustainable architecture, environment and economic development in Eğirdir.
