Summary/Abstract: Human beings need a lot of things in life and do shopping to meet those needs. In Qur’an, some regulations are made on this issue and predecures and principles of commerce and business ethics are set. Allah wants his subjects to obey these rules for a happy living both in the world and the afterlife. First of all, commerce should be based on the mutual consent of both parties and business that is not based on mutual consent is not considered legitimate. Commerce with interest is restricted and people who earn or pay interest are warned. Black marketing is not approved. True believers are expecdet to use legal methots in commerce and not to cause loss of rights and also not to waste because of excessive shopping. It is ordained not to vow in commerce and believers are warned not to abandon ibadah (worship) because of commerce. Attention is drawn to paying on time in commerce and contracts.
