Summary/Abstract: The women’s political participation was a long way, which started at the beginning of the XXth century and especially at the end of the First World War. Whatever the country, women began to demand their rights regarding participation in political life and thus the right to vote when they considered that there was a chance they can get it. The reason why women could participate in political life earlier in some countries than in others refer to the fact that in those countries either did not existed or there were no significant tensions between social classes, either feminist movements that fought for this right were quite moderate.
