Summary/Abstract: The ethical code of the PR specialists in Bulgaria has been signed by only 94 specialists. The vast majority of them are practitioners in the private sector, putting public practitioners in the position of a non-signatory to this important document for the professional community. Preliminary studies show that a large number of practitioners of different positions in the administration also did not receive specialized education and therefore did not become acquainted with the Code. They do not know the document and its content. The purpose of this publication is to present the Code of Conduct and some key points of the environment in which it operates.
