Summary/Abstract: The author describes the sabotage planning against German railway communications in Yugoslavia, and Slovenia in particular, by the British Special Operations Executive - SOE. The paper specifies the main targets of sabotage between Spring 1943 and Summer 1944, namely the Zidani Most railway junction with the adjacent bridge, and the rails in Primorska linking Italy with the Balkans. This issue gained importance in Spring 1944, with preparations for the Anglo-American landings under way (6 June 1944) and the need to shift German attention elsewhere in Europe.
