The Character of the Right to Complete a Blank Bill of Exchange

Summary/Abstract: Although the right to complete a blank bill of exchange is one of the conceptual features of the blank bill, its nature has not been satisfactorily explained. There are opinions that the bill-of-exchange right considers to be empowerment, the right of formation or the sui generis right. The conclusion on the nature of the bill-of-exchange right should be central to the subsequent questions about its limitation or transferability. The aim of the article is to include the bill-of-exchange right in the system of rights and characterize its substance, even in comparison with the opinions of foreign authors.
