Huseyin Gezer, as a student of Rudolph Belling, and as being sent to Europe within the education reforms during the republican era, has an important and an unique role creating Turkish Sculpture tradition via his productions and long years he spent teaching Sculpture in Academy with the academical education he took. This work is studied to be presented as an era piece with the selected art from his first students, important artists of Modern Turkish Sculpture Art, whom have produced in various disciplines using varies of materials rather than Huseyin Gezer’s own art productions.
