Summary/Abstract: The individual's spiritual self-perception of the need to strike out has caused Expressionism to arise. When describing herself, the artist tells about his dead ends, his fears, his loneliness in the world. The despair of the artist, the reflection of the inner troubles and the figures in the works, also constituted the main cause of the unaesthetication in the paintings. The expressionist artist has reflected incidents in his works in an incoherent manner and has treated the figures in his paintings in the way he would like to see them from his point of view. This is seen very concrete in the works of Expressionist artists Kirchner, Nolde, Beckman, Kokoschka. Almost all of the artists fluttered in the mass of grievances, reflecting their fears, sorrows, troubles in their works. It was also the main reason for the unaestheticisation in his paintings. In these pictures, a vague mood is hidden behind rich content, scary and frightening images. With the discovery of the omneness the reality of the outside world is redesigned. Expressionists have no intention of lifting all the usual patterns of art. They only want to discover the most secret world of the subject and reflect it in their works. In expressionist works, unaestheticisation or ugliness in figures were not an admiration for their ugliness, but they necessarily regarded it as a necessity for their natural life.
