Summary/Abstract: In the first decade of the twenty-first century, the new Algerian literature was intended to tell the story of the tragedy of the Black Decade. From Mustapha Benfodil to Salim Bachi, the novels on civil war and terrorism followed one another. Today, in a pacified Algeria but still uneasy, it has become urgent to write the everyday life to explain and overcome fears and anxieties. The heroes of two authors Kaouther Adimi and Samir Toumi are particularly unquiet and, in the banality of life, seek to beat the evils of history and memories.
